ADMINISTRATIVE & IMMIGRATION LAW
At GR Lawyers, we take on complex migration law matters including health, character, language and age exemptions, Ministerial Discretion submissions, cases involving Family Violence, disputed facts and applications based on exceptional circumstances as well as merit reviews at the AAT and judicial review under federal jurisdiction.
We also provide legal assistance in all aspects of administrative law, including helping parents apply for adequate NDIS funding for their children.
BACKGROUND
Born in Beijing, Ziran came to Australia in 1991 at the age of 11. He studied at Melbourne High School before completing a double degree at the University of Melbourne. He plays competitive badminton and is studying a master degree to become a certified early intervention therapist.
EXPERIENCE
Ziran began his legal career in the Employment and Immigration Law team at Maddocks Lawyers, a top tier Melbourne law firm. In 2005, he established what is now GR Lawyers. The firm initially focused on difficult migration law matters and work visas. In 2006, Ziran was interviewed by The Age and featured on the front page of the Careers section of the publication in recognition of his exceptional achievements.
Over the years, Ziran has served the Chinese and broader community in Australia by providing pro bono services to those who are disadvantaged and have no means to afford adequate legal help.
